My highlighted text today comes from The City of Bones, book #1 in The Mortal Instruments Series.

I’ve fallen in love with the world created by Cassandra Clare in this novel. I’m still in the first third of the 485 page novel, and there are still so many things I have yet to learn about the Shadow hunters and the demons. The above sentence is an example of the intricacies of this world completely foreign to the one in which we live. I can’t wait to learn about seraph blades, raveners, steles, and the rest of this rich world of mortal instruments.
