Vote for a Title

If you’ve been following my blog for any length of time you are well aware of the fact that I’m working on a novel. Last December I finished my first draft and I’ve spent the past seven months editing and reviewing my work. In order to move forward in the process I’ve had to set some deadlines. My final round of author edits will be done by August 31. This includes any beta readers who will be critiquing my novel. (If you are interested in being a beta reader please email me at theameribritmom@gmail.com) In September I will be sending out Query Letters to publishers and agents.

Today I’m turning to you, Dear Readers, for some advice and opinions.

As part of the Query Letter I am required to give a title for my book. Throughout the process I’ve called the story half a dozen names. Below are some titles I’ve come up with. Please comment with the title you prefer and why. If you don’t see one that you like please comment with an additional title name and I will take it into consideration.

Potential Titles:

1. Encounters on a Park Bench
2. Wandering the Windy City
3. Homeless
4. Finding Home
5. The Anatomy of a Park Bench (The park bench is a central object to the novel)
