Each Christmas Eve, I sit down with my husband and several rolls of paper, scissors, and tape to wrap all of the gifts for our family. It’s a fun time of sipping on drinks, and discussing the reactions we anticipate the next day. We work. We talk. We laugh. And it’s a fun memory of every Christmas season–one that marks the end of the hustle and the start of the relaxing gift of Christmas day. It is finished!
Our family is heading to England this Christmas and I am so excited to share some new traditions with my readers. But as we prepare to travel, I am in major prep-mode for making sure all of our gifts get to the destination and recipient without confusion. That’s why Gift Tags are so important.
This year as you sit down to wrap gifts, consider purchasing this $2.00 Holiday Gift Tag sheet to help ease the process. Print the tags onto sticker paper for easy transfer to wrapping paper, or to plain paper (just add tape).
This is my first school year since I began my teaching career 12 years ago that I do not teach an English class. I am exclusively a World History teacher and I am loving that role. However, English runs in my veins and I am missing some of the class discussions and learning surrounding novels in my classroom.
Nothing can replace the collective investment in the same characters and story. I miss the days when students would come in and beg to read all period so they could find out what happens next.
Just because I am no longer a high school English teacher doesn’t mean those experiences must come to an end.
I’ve taken years of experience in the classroom, my passion for books, and my interest in growing deep rooted communities to create a Guide to Hosting a Book Club. This four-page workbook walks you through how to plan for a successful book club launch or how to streamline the organization of an already established club.
In this guide, I walk you through creating norms for your group and choosing the right material to consider. I am also happy to launch this guide as a free resource for The Ameri Brit Mom community.
If you are anything like me, then starting the day off with a plan is the best way to get motivated for what lies ahead. With coffee in hand (and my favorite Papermate Flair pens), I like to schedule or plan out my day and set intentions before the sun has risen.
The way I plan out my day differs throughout the year, but I’ve found that the easier my method is to use–the more likely that I am to actually use it. That is why I created a one-page My Day at a Glance worksheet. Everything that I need to know for the day is collected on a single page, and it takes five minutes to get all of my tasks on paper.

Bullet journaling has been a hobby of mine since 2017. Over the years, the process has evolved to fit my needs and lately that includes creating my monthly spreads digitally and printing them on sticker paper. It’s so easy to fit these stickers to my notebook. These pages are customizable and easy to size depending on the notebook you use. When you purchase and download pages from The Ameri Brit Mom, you receive a beautiful collection of spreads in a single PDF file.
These are available as part of the Patreon page for my members. If you are interested in helping this small business thrive you can check out the monthly perks (like this) of becoming a patron.
