Using Canva to Launch My Brand

When I launched The Ameri Brit Mom Writing and Editing Services in January I had a vision of a brand that communicated my ideals in the simplest way possible. At first, that meant designing a logo that matched the aesthetic of what I do as well as fit into my minimalist lifestyle. I used Fiverr to create my logo and I am so pleased with the work from my cooperating artist:

Once I owned the rights to my logo in various formats, I sought out an app that would allow me to use this image to create social media posts, photos for my blog, business cards and merchandise for my clients. I looked at several different options, but settled with using Canva for a number of reasons:

Why I Chose Canva For My Brand…

Canva offers the ability to easily create many different projects using templates. I use a FREE version of Canva, and am so far pleased with the FREE options. However, if you want to have access to more templates and elements you can upgrade to a premium account. For now, I am able to serve my needs using the FREE account.

With Canva you have the options to create video, Instagram posts, Facebook posts, logos, Facebook covers, flyers, cards, business cards, social media stories, presentations, photo collages, banners, resumes, Youtube thumbnails, invitations, desktop backgrounds, postcards, menus, stickers, brochures and more.

You can also print your designs from your own workspace OR you can opt to pay for Canva to print and mail your work directly to you. Right now, I am offering several FREEBIES that I created on Canva for those who join my Patreon page.

For $5, $10, or $20 a month, you can support the creative work of The Ameri Brit Mom and The Ameri Brit Mom Writing and Editing Services. In return for your monthly payment, you will receive access to exclusive content (pictures, templates, videos, downloads, etc.), FREEBIES, and surveys. If you join today at any level of membership, you can download your own copy of this super cute and inspirational bookmark:

I’m really excited about some projects coming soon to the blog that I used Canva to produce. For now, I will leave you with that hint of mystery and a super cute client testimonial that I designed using Canva:
